Gallery of the Pilbara
The Pilbara is by many represented by the mining industry. Still, there is hidden gems in Karajini National Park, and the Dampier Peninsula. With cascading waterfalls disappearing into deep, cool plunge pools, and gorges snaking their way through the terrain, Karjini is a great National Park to visit. With scenery not unlike the Kimberley, and waterfalls to compare, Karajini is an outback paradise.
The Dampier Peninsula has stunning blue water, contrasting with red dirt and white shell-sand. Even just 20km out of Karratha, Henderson Cove is a beautiful beach. Just over the road from the Karratha Gas Plant, it still feels like a secluded beach in paradise.
The Pilbara stretches from a little above Port Hedland in the north, down to about Nananturra Roadhouse in the south.
