Wonders of Warnambool
We stayed in Yambuk, a nice caravan park out of Warnambool. We arrived in the dark and quickly set up. When we woke up in the morning we had a lovely view. Dad and Joel had both been for early morning walks and they reckoned the beach was lovely and there was a nice walk. There was also a big slide there which was fun.
In Warnambool we found one of the best museums. Flagstaff hill is all about shipwrecks, ships and the days of long ago. It was really fun to see and there was a challenge of finding clues throughout the town. It was built on a fort and all the old guns were still there. We also learnt about the soldiers that manned the fort. In the museum part, it was mostly about shipwrecks as Warnambool is on the shipwreck coast. They have some very rare displays and is definitely worth going to. The girls also enjoyed feeding the poultry and pigs.
